Meet the Therapist and Owner
Presley Souers MS, LPC
Presley has been a therapist for 5 years. She specializes in PTSD, ADHD, chronic illness, physical disabilities, caregiver fatigue. Over the last 5 years, Presley has worked in community health/school based counseling, in-patient settings, and private practice. Presley has experience not only working with those who have disabilities, but she also has her own physical disability. Presley is a pediatric stroke and chronic illness survivor. She truly understands what it is like not to feel like the world was made for you. She is married to her childhood sweetheart, and they have called NWA home for the last 23 years.
Presley has her BS from The University of Central Arkansas where she studied Psychology. She then spent a year in Slidell, Louisiana where she worked with individuals who had chronic and severe mental health illnesses. Presley went for her MS in Counseling Education and was rewarded a degree from The University of Arkansas in 2018.
During her spare time, you’ll likely find her at home crocheting afghans, watering her garden, working out, drinking coffee with her husband, and spending time with her family.
Presley is currently taking clients who have Blue Cross Blue Shield, Lyra, Ambetter, and self pay.
Introducing Miss Wiggles, the Soon-to-be Therapy Dog!
Wiggie (as she is called at home) is a AKC registered labrador. She is currently 16 weeks old. She loves to run around outside, eats dirt, loves to be chased, and prefers a coffee creamer bottle over the toys that her parents bought her. Wiggie will be undergoing some intense training to help Presley with clients who have panic attacks, PTSD, anxiety and depression. Wiggie will start her training at the beginning of 2025 and will hopefully be a “full time employee” at A Hopeful Place by the end of 2025.
